Hit play and get ready to chillax:
In his own words, “I think that when you kind of contemplate the relationship between two seemingly unrelated ideas you can arrive at some interesting places. ‘Love & Effigy’ is the newest Surf Tapes song and it definitely covers some emotions that I’ve been feeling lately. Alan Sanderson at Pacific Beat Recording here in San Diego did a great mix and we were both happy when we got the masters back from Troy Glessner at Spectre Studios in Seattle. He did a great job on it.”
Jared Castellaw is the maestro behind Surf Tapes, who started making waves last year with his three singles that highlighted his DIY touch. With more music on the way, Surf Tapes is just giving us a taste of what he has for us in 2021.
