As much as we enjoy the self-made hustler mentality, Conor Gains reminds us the value of having someone who has your back in his new single “Light Shine In.” An upbeat melody with smoky riffs, “Light Shine In” is an R&B piece on rock’n’roll steroids that sends foot-stomping beats across your veins. In his own words, the song “is about being independent and finding fullness within yourself, but also knowing that at the end of the day it’s nice to have someone that has your back.” Check it out:

“Light Shine In” is from Conor’s upcoming record, which he co-produced with Mike Wise (Ellie Goulding, James Blunt, Britney Spears). The record will be out on April 16th
