Swedish artist Lucky Lo has unveiled her latest single “Heart Rhythm Synchronize,” a warm and intimate piece that captures the weird phenomenon of people synchronizing their heartbeats. Washed with warm waves of funky basslines, simple drumbeats, and Khruangbin-inspired guitar, the track is a woozy piece sprayed with sanguine lyrics. It’s dreamy and introspective as Lucky Lo seamlessly capture the magic of such moment:
“A friend once told me that when people sing together, their heartbeats synchronize. I also read somewhere that the same thing happens when you sleep next to someone you love, or if you are strongly empathizing with someone close to you during a conversation. Our heartbeats are rhythmic pulses that extend outside our bodies, and like ripples on the water, affect our surroundings. This was my desire in this moment: for me and my partner to synchronize once again,” commented Lo on the single.
Lucky Lo will be playing at Pumpehuset Byhaven in Copenhagen on May 19th.
