With her unapologetic sass and magnetic vocals, R&B/pop artist DEJA declares her love for herself while celebrating confidence in her new single “Boujee.” It’s a cathartic piece that sends midfinger to all haters while embracing every part of her persona. “Boujee” is unapologetically quirky and gives you that energetic rush you need to claim your crown as that bitch in charge. Check out the video below:
In her own words, “Self-love and confidence. What’s wrong with it? On the day I wrote ‘Boujee’ I was feeling myself and I wanted the single after my EP to make the people feel the damn same. ‘I’m that bitch’ is repeated at least 20 times so if you didn’t know before, by the end of the song you will!”
Originally from Solihull, Birmingham, DEJA currently lives in West London where she keeps engraving her name in the pop and R&B scene. She has received praises from artists such as The Jacksons, Emeli Sandé, Macklemore, and more, whom she has opened numerous shows.
