ISLAND Invite Us Into Their Nostalgia Wonderland In ‘Yesterday Park’

Like many of us this past year, 2020 has been a year of introspection for London band ISLAND. The byproduct of such experiences is their latest record Yesterday Park, a 12-track time capsule that steps into certain memories while grappling with some of the never-ending complexities of being human. Although the band started making Yesterday Park before lockdown, the songs’ meanings expanded to different realms once pandemic. “Nostalgia is a feeling that has become more relevant for everyone in the last year, with more time and space to reflect on past experiences,” shared the band. Recorded with Mikko Gordon (Thom Yorke), Yesterday Park is the first record that the band has worked with an outside producer. The band will be hitting the stages this upcoming fall so go say hi:
