Some people finally took that step in their fitness journey by following TikTok workouts while others perfected the art of strudel during the pandemic. Margot Polo did the exact opposite, which makes him totally guiltily relatable. Like many people around the world, he struggled with 2020 and we’re pretty sure he also had sporadic existential crisis here and there. But he eventually ended up taking the opportunity to songsmith and the result is “Can You Hear Me?” –  a groovy cry for help, company, and sense that is sun-kissed with coastal psychedelia. With its fuzzy chords and waves a chest-warming synths, “Can You Hear Me?” is a breezy piece sprayed with all the uncertainty that the pandemic has dumped on us. Hit play and get ready to spin around your living room:

Speaking of the track, Margot Polo shared: “I know I’m not unique in feeling this, but 2020 was easily one of the most difficult years of my life. Getting to work out all of the words and music to this song, ‘Can You Hear Me?’, was such a wonderfully therapeutic and enjoyable experience. I didn’t start doing yoga or learn how to bake sourdough bread, but I got to write, record, produce and mix a song that I’m really proud of and am excited to share…”
