Danish artist Daniel Schulz teams up with Swedish songstress MIMI in new single “East Coast” where they navigate through the tricky uncertainties and unexpected surprises that comes with changes. “East Coast” is largely inspired by Schulz own move from living in LA and London to moving to Copenhagen where he embraces both the novelty and doubts that come with moving to new cities. With all the curves that life throws at you, “East Coast” is sort of a pop anthem graced with R&B details that serves as a meditative track into accepting things as they are with a pinch of optimism.
“My bucket list is long! And even though the last five years has been a crazy, wild and fun ride, it feels like I’ve just started checking off. You learn a couple of things getting into songwriting at an early age – accepting that it’s okay to revisit your insecurities and flaws from time to time – and these days I feel blessed and lucky to work with people who truly knows me and my story. My life and music feel more real than ever,” shares Daniel.
“East Coast” is out now via Warner Music.
