Seratones Drop New Effervescent Track “Good Day” & Announce New Album
Louisiana’s Seratones return with their latest single “Good Day” along with the announcement of their new record Love & Algorhythms, which will be out on April 29th via New West Records. The video, directed by Danielle Calodney, delivers buoyant visuals that are exquisitely paired with the booming gospel choruses. Within its self-empowering lyrics, the trio also pay homage to the novelist Toni Cade Bambara.
Speaking of the upcoming record, frontwoman and activist A.J. Haynes shares, “This is a protest album built on the form of protest I’m most interested in at this moment: getting present and sitting through difficult things with abundant joy.”
The band will kick off tour in March including SXSW and dates with Fitz And The Tantrums, St. Paul, and The Broken Bones.
